Smells like youth
Whether your youth is long gone; or you are still battling with pimples, BO and other smells - both good and bad, that last for days even after thorough washing; trying to figure out what all those new hairs mean and if stuff is supposed to look or feel how they do; and of course, struggling to get your “tail wagging” mechanisms under control, “I Want A Truck” is a young, fresh, innocent album that will make you feel special. If you have, you can bet your last dollar it wasn’t half as good as what you are about to listen to. It’s Washington, US singer songwriter, Afton Pater’s first album, and it sounds like something that was written by a maestra. It’s more amazing than anyone would have expected it to be or even imagined such a young, new artist could create. With only 6 tracks it’ll be over before you know it, but by the time you are done wiping the happy tears from your eyes you'll feel like a fairy sprinkled you with magic dust. You'll be filled with more energy and zest than you’ve ever had your entire life, ready to explore all the amazing new things the world has to offer.
