Frank Palangi
"Bring On The Fear"
Rock
Energizer
Currently still only available to pre-order, the new EP by Brooklyn, New York independent solo rock star, Frank Palangi already has fans and critics raving over a month before its official release on the 5th of June, and the buzz is growing almost exponentially as the date draws closer. It’s one of those albums you listen to and forget is an independent release. But that’s not to say it’s “popified” in any way at all, in fact it’s quite the opposite - it’s packed with meaningful songs you can do a lot more than dance to. In addition to offering the professional sound one would expect from the world’s top recording studios, the sensational self-produced album features instrumentation that will have you digging up your Jimi Hendrix CDs once it's over, and lyrics that will make you feel alive (again). This humble 5 track EP is not needy or arrogant, doesn’t aim to please, and it doesn’t promise to pleasure you in ways you've never been before, but by the time you are done listening to it you’ll find yourself desperately in search for a guitar to smash and a live bat to bite the head off of.
