Elliot Waits For No One (EWFNO) is the new Illinois, US band that, according to critics, is poised to completely shake things up on the Midwest’s rock music scene. Comprising of seasoned music industry veterans Jeff Tortora, Brian Troch and singer songwriter Jenny Franck, the band made their debut just over a year ago. Their highly anticipated self-titled album, “Elliot Waits For No One” was released on the 12th of June, just over a week ago. The 10 track album has everything from slow burning ballads to high-octane records that are liable to burn the flesh off your bones if you make the mistake of playing them too loud. Listen out for “Sick Of It All“, “You Can’t See Through Me“ and “Everyone Knows“.

Featured on Brooklyn, New York's top independent solo rock artist, Frank Palangi's "Set Me Free" EP, "Live It Up" is a song that will whisk you back to the days when rock 'n' roll music was about sticking it to the man and rocking out like it's your last day on earth. But before you go reaching for your acid and cocaine, and breaking out the good liquor, before frantically rushing up to your attic to find a live bat to bite the head off, remember to support real rock musicians and keep the genre alive by downloading it (not streaming). It's the Beatles all over again.

Once hailed as one of the most significant new rock bands since the Beatles, and even still up till today, independent UK rock quartet, The Tenant brought fans a sound they had been unknowingly wanting and deeply craving for when they made their debut a few years back. Even after going AWOL for over 3 years, they are still being raved about. In anticipation of their return we are looking back at some fan favorites.

"Run" is a very dark, laid-back, quiet track with a very introspective feel. Its simple and somber instrumental and vocal performance will lead you into a world of your own where only your deepest thoughts reside while ever so gently massaging any lingering worries away to make was for clarity and acceptance. What a rush!


This is one of those tracks that will get you on your feet and have your blood racing instantaneously whether you like it or not, wherever it is playing, no matter what you are doing. If you are a psychedelic fan or have ever been, it will also have your eyes rolled so far back into your head you'll think you are on that stuff (again). It's one of those ingenious recordings no one could or will really ever wrap their heads around. One of those tracks that is good in so many ways it's just so hard to put a finger on it and say, "this is what makes it great" or "that is what makes it so amazing". It's also one of those tracks that got so popular you may never have needed to know the title to find it or hear it - it was and still is that amazing. Many would say it couldn't have been better in any way and they wouldn't have changed a thing.
