"By All Means"
Hip Hop
How'm I gonna get a scar like that eating *pineapple?
One of those records that will put you in Scarface mode straight away. By the end of it you'll have all your guns out on the table and be polishing them really meticulously with a sinister and calm look on your face, and one eye squinted like you're listening out for something in the background.
"By All Means" is a hard-hitting album that will make you feel like a man again. We love Drake, Kanye and all the hip hop newbies out there who make sweet pop songs that you hear and don’t know whether to cry, dance or do a combination of both, but err… Okay that's a lie, we don’t like them, scratch that. We don’t dance, and we don't like pink - we’re sick of seeing it in rap videos. We’ve never made love and we only do it doggie style. We’re beasts on the inside but we wear a lot of cologne and neatly pressed clothes so no one ever finds out. If you ever hit the gym with us you’ll never do it again. And most importantly, we’re really good second-hand smokers; wink, wink. “By All Means” is one of the very few hip hop albums we’ve listened to all the way through to the end without hitting the Fast Forward button, getting impatient for the next song or cringing even a little bit - let's face it, there isn't a rapper in the world that won't at some point in their career or the other say something that will have you thinking to yourself "oh, hell no!". This hip hop masterpiece is as authentic as a Coca Cola. You can feel the raw energy and hunger coming from the diaphragm of the fast-rising Winston-Salem underground hip hop star on every single bar. It's one of those albums you can listen to over and over and over. With 8 tracks, all sprinkled with magic dust, it will have you weak at the knees and then knock you out at the climax with “Dear Moma”. You’ll never be the same again.
Explicit.
