Released on the 19th of April, just over two weeks ago, Italian band, Amycanbe's "White Slide" EP has received the highest praises from the world's top music critics and most discerning fans. The release saw to it that the band was featured in the UK's highest ranked and most trusted music industry magazine, Music Week prior to its official release and the band has enjoyed widespread popularity, press coverage and radio airplay over the past few months in anticipation of it. Originally release a few years back with limited distribution, the new version of the EP was re-released in 76 countries on iTunes, Spotify and all popular music services world wide.
"White Slide" is one of those EPs that will have you on your knees with your palms together by the time it's over, praying you'll never have to ever settle for less. But sadly everything else will pale in comparison once you've heard it. It's one of those EPs that is so good if someone told you there was crack in it and it was highly addictive you'd probably buy 2 more copies.
With just 4 tracks the record still manages to be so monumental and essential that its significance is as important in alternative music as Michael Jackson's "Thriller" and Prince's "Purple Rain" were in pop, and just like those legendary breakthrough albums that marked new career highs, this album marks a new high for the critically acclaimed Italian band, who are now receiving worldwide recognition in all music circles, mainstream and independent, more so than ever before.
"5 is the Number" is a pensive, insightful, deeply refreshing and electrifying record. It will energize you, motivate you and make you feel so alive you'll believe you can fly. It's one of those records that's so good it could literally make the world a better place, and it probably will. It's calming, exciting, mesmerising and infused with thrilling synths that will give you goosebumps.
It's one of those tracks you hear and instantly believe it could never get better, and you wouldn't change a damn thing even if you became a sound engineer with super powers. And then right in front of your ears, like magic, it does when you least expect it, and then does it over and over till you have the most explosive eargasm you've ever had.
