Christina Custode
"All For Her"
Adult Contemporary
Elegance meets its match.
"All for Her" is oldie but a goodie that has stood and continues to stand the test of time. It was released back in the summer of 2016. It's a song about being in love with someone who's in love with someone else. It's about real love, the way many of us don't remember it, or haven't experienced it at all.
New York's Christina Custode is known for her delicate, elegant, easy on the ear sounds and grand piano performances so soft, gentle and infectious they'll put you to sleep and bring your dreams alive. If you haven't already discovered the amazing sounds of the beautiful, young Niagara Falls songstress who is often referred to as New York's sweetest songbird then this isn't the best place to start, but you are here already so let's go for it. This record is so exquisite and sophisticated it'll make you wonder what you've been listening to over the past decade and why nothing else has done what it's doing to you. It's a relatively quiet track but somehow you listen to it and hear nothing else, a very special characteristic only few songs possess, especially in today's overly busy world where musicians are forced to sing and play louder and louder just to be heard over everything else that's going on in the world around. But this song doesn't try too hard to be heard, in fact it doesn't try at all - it knows it's unique, it knows it's important, and it knows you'll listen. It's like those sweet, elegant, soft-spoken white ladies with pink cheeks, gloves and big hats you'll only find at tea parties in England if you visit the Queen's palace on a mild summer day, but fiesty and unrelenting inside.
