The Tenants
"Run"
Rock
Enter the dragon
Not for the faint-hearted
This song should come with a disclaimer explicitly warning listeners they are not ready for they are about to hear.
It's the Beatles all over again.
Once hailed as one of the most significant new rock bands since the Beatles, and even still up till today, independent UK rock quartet, The Tenant brought fans a sound they had been unknowingly wanting and deeply craving for when they made their debut a few years back. Even after going AWOL for over 3 years, they are still being raved about. In anticipation of their return we are looking back at some fan favorites.
"Run" is a very dark, laid-back, quiet track with a very introspective feel. Its simple and somber instrumental and vocal performance will lead you into a world of your own where only your deepest thoughts reside while ever so gently massaging any lingering worries away to make was for clarity and acceptance. It's warm, inviting, very easy on the ear and is the sort of track that's guaranteed a spot on every single rock music playlist, not just because it is unobtrusive but because it represents a beautiful era in rock music while ever so carefully carving a sculpture of the present day. Lyrics is what makes this band very special to their die-hard fans, and in this track, which never made it past the demo stages yet manages to rank as one of their most requested, the band gives a deeper, darker insight into their sound and a sneak peak at the inner workings of their creative minds.
