Wylder is a Washington, DC folk music band that has made a name for themselves as one of the most exciting independent bands to ever emerge from the region. Their deeply infectious, highly intoxicating instrumentation, and exceptional way with words has seen to it that they are enjoying a progressively illustrious music career and are being looked upon as one of the United States’ next big international folk music acts. Guitarist and singer, Will McCarry, who credits himself as the driving force behind the ethereal elements of the band’s highly distinctive sweet sound recently launched his solo career while still remaining a key member of the band. “Green Eyes”, his debut single was released on the 22nd of May. Sweeter than a lullaby, the record takes everything amazing about Wylder, chops it up into tiny little pieces and feeds them to you one at a time till you feel like a toddler again. Same amazing sound, just a wee bit simpler.
