"My Lady"
Hip Hop

Finally, a respectful hip hop record for the special ladies in our lives.

When you open your eyes in the morning she’s the first thing on your mind. You light up inside every time you see her. She puts a smile on your face when nobody else can. When she touches you it feels like there’s a million butterflies flapping around inside your pants. When she smiles the whole world stops and no one or nothing else in the world matters. Romance, that feeling of excitement and joy that comes with love, is a feeling that many crazy lovers more often than not find it difficult to understand or explain. Much like that mysterious feeling, this song is good in so many ways there are not enough words in the dictionary to describe it; and so exciting putting the right words together in the right order would be like trying to play Scrabble with Snoop Dogg.

“You’re so bad you’re good for my health” – Sha Stuu

This is one of those hip hop records that never gets old and somehow makes it into every self-respecting hip hop DJ and radio station’s record pool. With a positive vibe, and a message of love, it’s written like Shakespeare would have written it if he wore his hat backwards or slightly tilted to the side and his jeans a little below the belt. It is masterfully produced, with a very sweet, juicy beat that’s colourful, busy, bright and exciting.

Explicit.
