Sneaks up on your sweet spot like dark chocolate
Featured on Bristol, UK psychedelic rock sensation, Lunarians' debut album, "Lost Light Receiver", this record still receives praise today as one of the most infectious and authentic independent psychedelic rock releases out of the South West in a very long time. It's pacey, sweet - as the title suggests, yet dark and pensive with a rather ominous, disturbing and unsettling feel about it at the same time. It introduced fans to a sound that was and still is very rare in rock music today, and several years after its release critics still reference and rave about it every chance they get. It's particularly good because it is not one of those songs that aims to please, but it does so in so many ways. Bury your ears in this when you need a quick getaway from the mainstream's super happy stuff and need something seriously good that will get you thinking and then blow your brains out when you are not looking so you feel no more pain.
