Smooth, slow burning, motivational, inspirational, insightful, positive and uplifting, it's a theme that is very rare and very much missed in hip hop today. "When Will I" was released on the 3rd of May and featured on this week's Skunk Radio Live Auditions. It's one of those records you can throw on after a hard day's work while steaming some good broccoli, hoping for better days and appreciating the best of the present. Reminiscent of slow rap songs by artists like Warren G and Nate Dogg, and Tupac back in the '90s. It's about chasing dreams/pursuing goals with diligence and faith - something almost everyone can relate to.
