You'll hate how much you love it

Get your bubble gum and your pom-poms

No cheerleaders

Everyone loves a feisty girl, but nothing could possibly prepare you for this flamboyant extravaganza of defiance and youthful exuberance. Very vaguely reminiscent of that of M.I.A, famous for songs like "Bad Girls" and "Paper Planes" for no apparent reason, CC's voice will liberate you and make you feel like a rude teenage girl without a care in the world and all the boys waiting in line to get their hearts broken. To cut a long story short, this is bubble gum pop that will make you feel loved no matter how bad or good you think it is. It's nothing but bright, summery, colorful, really pink fun all the way through with themes ranging from parties and boys to love, heartbreak, friends and everything that's important to teens. If you are into pop artists like Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, Iggy Azalea and Bhad Bhabie (yes, pop) this album is most certainly not for you even though it may seem like it from the outside. This is very far from that new aggressive "no tampons here" style of music that is becoming too rampant for comfort on MTV - we want our girlie ladies back!

"Girls Scout" is as girly as an album could possibly ever get. If you are not sure what to expect, think of Gwen Stefani's song, "Hollaback Girl", now cover it in pink, sprinkle it with confetti and give it more attitude and sass than Miley Cyrus on her song, "23" with Mike Will Made This. Now do that 11 times, each time a little more than the last. What you get is a pop album that will knock your socks off really slowly, one song at a time.
