Fury Weekend Ft. Megan McDuffee
"Thousand Lights"
Synthpop
To the Batmobile!
Retro sounds from the '90s meet space age sounds from the future. Yet another Megan McDuffee collaboration that is causing pandemonium in the world of retro wave and synthpop, and driving electronic music fans absolutely nuts. This one is with Minsk, Belarus music producer, Fury Weekend. Pacey and thrilling from start to finish, this lush and elegant electronic music masterpiece has all the makings of a superhero movie soundtrack - it's the type of music that ushers in the supervillain for the final battle scene, and the perfect closing song for when the hero inevitably wins, and then says something really cocky to seal the victory. It has one of the longest intros of any song this decade, but after just over a minute of utterly electrifying aural healing, Megan McDuffee steps in to take what has already become the ultimate musical rush to the next level. The only thing that could possibly ensue is a painfully satisfying eargasm that will whisk you away to year 3000 for a body transplant to help you move accordingly.
