Dannie Carson
"Goodbye In The Redlight"
Country
So refreshing
When artists like Oklahoma, US native, Dannie Carson take the stage, they command the attention and respect of every ear in ways words can't describe. With a soft, tender voice that has a way of speaking to one's inner child, a guitar played ever so gently, and lyrics that bring tears of joy every single time, she leaves audiences with something to remember that they are never really able to put a finger on. "Goodbye in the Redlights" is one of her latest releases. She is more of a live performer than one who releases recorded music regularly so it's a rarity that has brought much joy to many. As the title suggests, the song is about saying goodbye. The lyrics talk about dangerous love with a "hit it and quit it" storyline that will have anyone who is even remotely human yearning for more in defiance. It's a big record with a lot of radio appeal and it continues to receive widespread acclaim. If you are in Oklahoma, pop down to any self-respecting live music venue or concert hall and ask where and when you can see her play live next and you'll be sure to have your socks blown away while you are simultaneously wiping the unexplained tears from your cheeks. Better yet, just head over to the Skunk Radio Live Events page to see all upcoming concert and tour dates. Bring a pair of extra socks and a hanky.
Oops! Look who snuck a cameo.
