"Don't Remember Who I Am"
Alternative Rock

The only ignorance that is bliss.

Anyone who still thinks ignorance is bliss in 2018 must not have discovered that amazing website on the internet called Google.

No, it's not bliss anymore because now humans can find out almost anything in the world except the very subject of this record. You'd have to work really hard to be ignorant nowadays. Sadly, Google can't help you remember who you are, fundamentally, so if you find yourself in that very situation then you've indeed found bliss and this is your anthem - use it wisely.

Some say the answer to the question of "Who Am I" holds the key to very key to answering the biggest of all questions, the question of what life is... but who's asking anymore?

Amycanbe's song, "Don't Remember Who I Am" is one of those records that reminds us how important the Italian band is as a musical act. Their records touch on subject matters that are relevant and will remain relevant for years to come.

Whether you are ignorant or you are just looking for bliss, this is your song.

It's slow, introspective, insightful, dark and warm with a hidden ray of sonic sunshine just barely coloring the ambience.

Production-wise, it'll take you back to the days of Jimi Hendrix, with extreme panning and a psychedelic feel that will have you sedated by the end of the song.

This is one of those tracks that mesmerises you from the beginning and then blows your mind time and time again until you've completely forgotten where you left off. It's one of those songs that'll whisk you away to your happy place and never bring you back, before coming to an abrupt end. It's slow yet it'll be over before you know it and much like back in the Jimi Hendrix era - you won't remember much.
