"Wade in the Water"
Rock

Escaping slavery rock 'n' roll style.

"Wade in the Water" was and is still one of the most popular songs dating back to slavery days. Harriet Tubman, one of the famous escapees of the underground railroad, used the song to tell slaves escaping on the rail tracks to get into nearby waters in order to avoid being sniffed out by the slavecatchers' dogs.

Brian Ames with David Danced Collective have made this track their own and brought it to life old school rock style.

A virtuosic performance that gets more and more exciting every step of the way. Much like the theme of the song, you'll feel like a runaway slave getting closer and closer to freedom.

Passionate and lively with excellent production.

Troubled times have never sounded so good.
